Building New Horizons

Building New Horizons

Nursery and Primary School

We embarked on this journey in 2022 with the acquisition of one acre of raw land, located south of the city of Kasese and west of the small village of Muhokya. At present, we have constructed six buildings, including three classroom structures (housing nine individual classrooms), a teachers’ dormitory, a bathroom facility, and a kitchen. While these buildings are operational, none are fully completed.

Phase 1: Complete Construction of Current Buildings

Each of the three classroom buildings requires six windows and three doors, totaling 18 windows and 9 doors. Additionally, the classrooms and the teachers’ dormitory need sturdy cement flooring and plastering for both interior and exterior walls to safeguard against weather-related damage.

Phase 2 – Construction of Remaining Buildings

Future phases will be the new construction of:

  • Second teachers’ dormitory (females)
  • Orphanages (both males and females)
  • Community Service Building
  • Medical Clinic
  • Second bathroom
  • Second water storage container with rain catchment structure.
